Neighbor committee · not 911

See something. Say something.

Ice, a dark walk, a leak in a hall, a light out, an idea for a cookout. This goes to Trimble Run Neighbors — not Council’s complaint line, and not the police. If someone is hurt or in danger, call 911.

What this committee can do

The Code lets Council create a standing committee of at least three people. Until they do, we operate as independent neighbors. We cannot replace Council.

  • Events and welcome

Kids, holidays, lobby coffee, a movie. Ask before using the community room, lawn, or pool. Leave it as we found it.

  • Neighbor help

Rides, groceries, a check-in, a lightbulb. Inside-the-unit help only. Not roofs, stacks, or the lot.

  • Watch and pass it on

Ice, a dark walk, a leak in a hall. Write Council. Count hands so “it’s just you” stops working.

  • Ask to be the official committee

Article IV, Section 11: Council may create a standing committee of at least three people. We offer to be that body. Until they vote, we meet as neighbors.

What we cannot do

  • — Levy assessments or collect condo fees.
  • — Hire vendors for Common Elements (pipes, roofs, siding, lot, pool equipment).
  • — Speak as Council or use Association letterhead.
  • — Count as a second board. Five people on Council run the Property (Article III, Section 1).
